Winners’ Academy is a preschool and childcare program licensed by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services. We have been providing high quality childcare services since October 2010 to various families in West Hempstead and the surrounding communities.
Our goal is to ensure that children feel safe, cared for and welcomed when they come to our program. The program nurtures and promotes a child’s creativity, self-esteem, independent thinking and physical growth (through indoor and outdoor play). Our ultimate goal is to ensure that the program adequately prepares each child for Kindergarten by age 5. Play has become an integral aspect of our program as it allows children to interact with their social world and learn about cause and effect. It also allows them to develop positive social skills, self-esteem, competency, and acceptance. In short, play allows children to see the social world through their peers, teachers, and caregivers’ perspectives.

The mission of Winners’ Academy is to provide the highest quality care and educational service in a safe, wholesome environment based on developmentally appropriate guidelines and solid growth and development knowledge, thereby encouraging the social, emotional, spiritual, physical, and intellectual growth and development of each child.
It is the philosophy of Winners Academy that early childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, security, exploration, and discovery. Children are creative and receptive and our program strives to nurture theses qualities in each student. We do this by providing an excellent educational program in an environment where children can explore the world around them through the ARTS in a safe and comfortable atmosphere.
